This man was a true American hero who sacrificed everything. My Uncle Luther came home in 2023 after being identified by the DPAA after having been MIA since September 1, 1950. He was buried in Andersonville National Cemetery because he lived in Americus. I am grateful that he came home while I was alive to be here for his homecoming.
