James graduated high school from Horizon Christian Fellowship in San Diego. He participated in the drama class, his favorite thing to do in high school. James entered the U.S. Marines after graduation. James had gone to see the recruiter without telling his parents. One day the recruiter showed up to sign papers when James turned 18. James toured in Iraq during the war. Following in the footsteps of his father, grandfather and uncles, he took pride in serving his country. Being a Marine was his proudest accomplishment. James became a father in 2004 to Jurney Lewis Egerdahl, his pride and joy and true love of his life. Jeffrey Alexander Mount with the U.S. Marine Corps 2D Battalion 9th Marines. Cpl. Mount was a 2007 graduate of Station Camp High School in Hendersonville, Tenn. and a 2009 graduate of MCRD in Parris Island, S.C. Most recently, he was stationed at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville and lived with his wife and daughter. Cpl. Mount served his country honorably with the U.S. Marine Corps on three tours of combat duty in Afghanistan from 2010 to 2014. Cpl. As most people in our family, he chose the Navy. He was a Navy Seabee and later served his community as a fireman and first responder. He loved anything outdoors. He left his mom and dad, and step dad, three brothers, two sons, two grandsons, one granddaughter, and two nieces that loved him dearly. Todd was one of those guys that everyone loved and looked for anytime they went out. He was always so happy and loved to pick with people. One thing for sure, no one had ever said anything bad about our country around Todd. You could pick and call the Navy boy anything you wanted, but better not crack on our country - cause it was about to go down. Todd Loved the Navy and his family. He will always be missed. Todd served in the Navy for 11 years. He was from Mocksville, North Carolina. He came from a long line of firefighters (his dad, grandpa, etc). He was kind-hearted and self-less, and he was very proud of serving his country. John’s hobbies included hanging out with friends and family, working out, and going to the movies. John Franklin Rainey, Jr., 23, of Charlotte, passed away on January 18, 2014 in Norfolk, VA. He was born in Rock Hill, SC on December 31, 1990. John was a graduate of Providence High School. He served 4 years in the US Navy as Fire Controlman 3rd Class Petty Officer stationed in Norfolk, VA.
