REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Welcome to the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery - Boise's Wreaths Across America Page.

On December 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), 1,833 wreaths from Wreaths Across America will be placed at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery - Boise to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

The Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise, Idaho, has chosen to work with another local organization to honor its veterans. Wreaths Across America will send the 1,833 sponsored veterans’ wreaths for placement on December 14, 2024, and The Idaho Veterans Network will cover the remainder of the headstones.

Directions to Cemetery

The Idaho State Veterans Cemetery is located at 10100 N Horseshoe Bend Road in Boise.

If you are heading East on Hwy 44/State St make a left onto Horseshoe Bend Rd.  If you are heading West on Hwy 44/State St make a right onto Horseshoe Bend Rd.

From Horseshoe Bend Rd head north through the 4 way stop intersection at Hill Rd.  Go about 200 yards, on your right you will enter into Dry Creek Cemetery.  Follow road about 1/4 mile where you will see the Veterans Cemetery on your left.

Parking Instructions

We are asking that you arrive in plenty of time for parking before ceremony starts.  There is limited parking inside the cemetery so we ask if you would like to park inside the cemetery or designated parking in Dry Creek Cemetery to arrive around 9am.  There is NO guarantee that there will be parking inside cemetery as we continue to grow and receive a great amount of support.  There is parking at Optimist Park where you may car pull to cemetery or walk in.

Depending on weather we can open 2 large dirt fields.  If it is too muddy you will not be permitted to park in these dirt fields.

We will have several volunteers helping with parking should someone have questions as they enter cemetery.

We ask for you patience as we continue to work through parking issues with our amazing community as we continue to grow!
