REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Welcome to the CA0664P - Empathy is the Remedy Foundation's Wreaths Across America Page.

Empathy is the Remedy Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose guiding principle is to give Joy and inspire positive action every day to uplift people’s lives and leave our community better than we found it.

Members of Empathy is the Remedy team have been participating in annual WAA Days since 2017 to honor our foundation's Founder, Nicole Joy Ledina, who passed away from a rare autoimmune condition at the age of 19. She volunteered and developed programs for Senior and Veteran causes. The foundation started working with WAA as an official Sponsorship Group in 2021 and in 2022, WAA asked us to be the new Location Coordinator for the Riverside National Cemetery, the largest and busiest cemetery managed by the US Department of Veterans Affairs - National Cemetery Administration. There are over 250,000 veterans laid to rest at this location. We specifically chose to take on this location as we uncovered that it needed the most help. Not only is it the largest location, but only about 3% or less of the veterans interred there were being Honored and Remembered with a wreath when we first started looking into partnering with WAA (that was only about 3000-4200 wreaths on average being placed there at the time) . In 2021, 7,921 total wreaths were placed at the Riverside National Cemetery and in 2022, 10,980 wreaths were placed. Our goal is to raise that number and percentage over time and Honor and Remember as many of the 250K+ Veterans resting there as possible.

Please help us Honor and Remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on National WAA Day, and inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Thank you so much for supporting the CA0664P - Empathy is the Remedy Foundation and Wreaths Across America!
