Welcome to the Chichester New Hampshire's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On December 14, 2024 at 12:00 pm (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), Wreaths Across America will be at Chichester New Hampshire to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

Directions to Cemetery

Wreath laying ceremony will be held at 

 Veterans' Memorial Park  

 54 Main Street Chichester, NH  @ 12:00 p.m.


Adequate on site parking available.

Volunteers will then disperse to various cemeteries in Chichester to lay wreaths on veterans' gravesites.

Cemetery location maps and directions are available on the Chichester town webpage  https://www.chichesternh.org  and will be available on event day. 



Parking Instructions

There is plenty of parking at the Veterans' Memorial Park at 54 Main Street Chichester NH so feel free to park in any available spot. 

Limited roadside parking is available at each cemetery. 

Please, park on the same side of the road as the cemetery in line with the direction of traffic. Be courteous and do not block private driveways/entrances. 

PLEASE DO NOT PARK INSIDE THE CEMETERIES


Ceremony and Volunteer Information

              December 14, 2024 (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony) @ 12:00 noon


We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Chichester, New Hampshire. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the event itself.

Here are some things to remember about the event:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
  • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
  • Please park in the lower parking lot upon arrival. (Town Offices entrance)
  • 11:00 a.m.             Cemetery Trustees set up ceremony area at Veterans' Memorial Park
  • 11:30-11:45 a.m.   military veteran volunteers arrive for instructions for wreath placement at Veterans' monument
  • 12:00 p.m.             ceremony begins at Veterans'  Memorial Park monument
  • 12:20-12:25 p.m.   ceremony concludes at Veterans' Memorial Park monument.
  • 12:30 p.m.             wreaths and placement instructions along with location maps of Chichester cemeteries distributed. Volunteers disperse to place remembrance wreaths in Chichester cemeteries (Limited roadside parking is available at each cemetery. Please, park on the same side of the road as the cemetery in line with the direction of traffic. Be courteous and do not block private driveways/entrances. PLEASE DO NOT PARK INSIDE THE CEMETERIES.)
  • Event end- when all wreaths have been placed


The most important thing to remember is to have a memorable experience participating in the event.
