REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Welcome to the Wreaths Across America Page for the Church and Cannon Chapter, NSDAR. Our chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution owns the small Revolutionary War-era Battleground Cemetery in Springfield, NJ. It is our goal to place a wreath on every soldier's grave and remember the sacrifices each made for the founding of our country. In addition to the graves of these patriots, there is a monument to the unknown soldiers killed in action during the Battle of Springfield on June 23, 1780.

This year, we will also be placing wreaths on the graves of veterans buried along Church Mall in the First Presbyterian Church's cemetery.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, and inviting your family and friends to attend our ceremony in the auditorium of the First Presbyterian Church's Parish House, 37 Church Mall, Springfield, NJ 07081 at noon on December 14th. Any wreaths over and above what are needed for our veterans, will be donated to other cemeteries that do not have enough to honor their veterans.

Even though we own the Battleground Cemetery, our chapter only receives credit for the wreaths ordered when you use our group name or code (NJ0207P). Funds raised go to support the maintenance of the cemetery and other patriotic endeavors. Thank you so much for supporting the Church and Cannon Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Wreaths Across America!
