Welcome to NE0047P - Central Nebraska Quilts of Valor's Wreaths Across America Page.
On December 14, 2024 (See location pages for ceremony and wreath placement details), NE0047P - Central Nebraska Quilts of Valor will be helping to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying veteran’s wreaths on the graves of our country's military members.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring veteran’s wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.
You may sponsor one of many locations by doing the following:
- Select "Sponsor Wreaths."
- Select "Location to Support." There is a drop-down menu on the right of "Nebraska Veterans Memorial Cemetery ."
- Scroll through the list to select your location of choice.
- If a participating cemetery you would like to support is not listed, scroll to the bottom of the list and select "choose another cemetery to support." You will enter that cemetery name, and your sponsorship will count towards our goal.
To Volunteer:
- Select "Volunteer."
- Select a location to volunteer. If the cemetery is not listed, select "Lookup by Cemetery Name" OR " Lookup by City or Postal Code."
- Complete Registration.

Directions to Cemetery
Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.
In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will take place at the United Veterans Club at 1914 West Capital in Grand Island, NE
The wreaths will be laid at the Veterans Cemetery on the corner of Webb and Capital immediately following the ceremony.
Parking Instructions
Parking is limited at the cemetery. It is advisable to car pool. You may park on the shoulder of the road on Capital or in the parking lot at the strip mall across the street from the cemetery.Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Nebraska Veterans Memorial Cemetery . Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at United Veterans Club, 1914 W Capital, Grand Island, NE, 68803
Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
