Welcome to the Girl Scout Troop 249's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On Dec 14th 2024 at 12pm, our Girl Scouts will be helping the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Directions to Cemetery

Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery.  

  • PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY!!  CEREMONY STARTS PROMPTLY AT NOON! 
  •   When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself and kindly listen to the volunteers that are assisting with the parking. 
  •  There will be 2 golf carts to assist those that are not able to make the walk up to the ceremony site.  Please be mindful and allow those in need the use of the golf carts. 

Parking Instructions

There is plenty of parking at this cemetery.  Please be aware that you may have to park in the overflow area that is across the street from the cemetery.  Please be kind and follow the guidance of our volunteers.  2 Golf cart shuttles are provided for those needing assistance with making the walk up to the ceremony area. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY!
