REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Welcome to the NJ0260P - Girl Scouts of New/North Brunswick's Wreaths Across America Page.

On December 14, 2024 at 12:00 pm, NJ0260P - Girl Scouts of New/North Brunswick will be helping Elmwood Cemetery Association to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Elmwood Cemetery has 660 veterans and they have about 200 secured.

The Girl Scouts have set a goal to help Elmwood get the rest of their wreaths:

Our 2023 goal is 460 wreaths!

After the Girl Scouts of NNB braved the rain to help place flags with Elmwood for Memorial Day this year, Elmwood approached them with the idea to help out with Wreaths Across America (WAA). A small portion of every wreath donation (sponsorship) either goes to a local non profit organization that is working an approved WAA cemetery, or it goes back up to Maine where WAA is headquartered. Elmwood is an approved WAA cemetery, but it is not a non profit organization. The money from every wreath donated thru Elmwood goes back up to the Maine headquarters. Elmwood asked the girls if they would like to become a sponsor group for them, and with that, a small portion of each wreath is kept local with the girls to be spread back through our local communities through their community give backs and projects.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Thank you so much for supporting the NJ0260P - Girl Scouts of New/North Brunswick and Wreaths Across America!
