Welcome to the Friends of the Virginia Veterans Cemetery Wreaths Across America Page. 

On December 14, 2024 (See location pages for ceremony and wreath placement details) at 12:00 noon, Friends of the Virginia Veterans Cemetery will be helping to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Directions to Cemetery

Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.

Parking Instructions

Please enter the cemetery through the main entrance and proceed to the right.  Proceed around the cemetery loop and parallel park along both sides of the roadway facing the same direction.  Please pull as far forward as possible forward to maximize parking.  During the event a one-way traffic pattern will be in effect.  Please note that the Patriot Guard will be arriving with the ceremonial wreaths at 11:30am and at that time vehicular traffic will be prevented from entering the cemetery until the escort is complete.  Alternative parking is permitted on the shoulder of Pridesville Road.    

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

-The Patriot Guard will arrive with the ceremonial wreaths at 11:30am.

-At 12:00 noon the wreaths will be placed by volunteers in accordance with the outlined Wreaths Across America program.

-Those who are interested in volunteering to assist with the wreath laying are asked to register on this website.
