THE MISSION OF WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA

REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Welcome to the Civil Air Patrol, Lubbock Composite Squadron's Wreaths Across America Page (TX-0031p)

This is the 16th year the Civil Air Patrol has been involved with Wreaths Across America.  We take pride in this program and have had plans for years to expand it beyond the City of Lubbock Cemetery.  This year, it's become a reality. More cemeteries have been registered, grave-specific requests are being taken, and more people, organizations, and businesses in Lubbock are getting involved. We want to thank everyone who has been involved and continues growing this remarkable program.

On December 16, 2023, the Civil Air Patrol, Lubbock Composite Squadron, will hold a ceremony at one of the new cemeteries.  The location is still being confirmed and will be announced next month.

Civil Air Patrol is still sponsoring the City of Lubbock Cemetery as a sponsorship group because this is the cemetery we started the program at, in 2008.  REMEMBERING our fallen, HONORING those who are currently serving, and TEACHING the next generation that freedom is NOT free is essential to maintaining the integrity of this program.

Please be sure to watch for the announcement of the cemetery we choose for this year's ceremony so you can join us in Remembering and Honoring our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes. You can sponsor a remembrance wreath by clicking on the sponsor a wreath button.  Choose the cemetery you wish for the wreath to be placed.

Thank you so much for supporting the Civil Air Patrol, Lubbock Composite Squadron (TX-0031p), and Wreaths Across America!  This fundraiser helps support Cadet Programs, provides scholarships to encampments and mission training.
