In Memory Of for JOHN M. LAZO, United States Military, Born 10/21/48, Passed On 03/22/21, Honored by Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery
Time has not erased your smile, your laughter, your love of family, country and community. The void created by your departure remains: you are missed daily. You were proud to be a US Army veteran who served in Vietnam and we are eternally grateful for your sacrifice and service. Your memory shines bright in our hearts and continues to live in all of us (your family). A wreath is being laid in your honor as a symbol of our love and gratitude. You served a grateful nation and your sacrifice for freedom is treasured. Merry Christmas! Rest in Peace and may Perpetual Light shine upon you.

All Veterans
In honor of my step-Dad, Carrol Wayne Burgess who proudly served in the National Guard in the 1950's for over ten years. Sadly he never knew the NG was part of the Military and died knowing he was a Veteran. His children thankfully found this out toward the end of his life and wonderfully he was given a military funeral and later his children were given his medals of honor. He would have been sooooo proud to have known all of this.
