Personal Message
by Susan K. for Edward Armour, Army, Honored by Wreaths Across America

Dear Edward Armour, You were in the 45th in the Korean War and saw many atrocities. You came home, but not without leaving your peace of mind and heart with your fellow soldiers. Sadly, especially in light of today’s advances, you lost your life to PTSD, Something that was not well understood back then. You are gone, But never forgotten. Thank you for my 2 brothers and sister. I came later, but I wanted to honor their Father and say that you are still lived and your legacy is strong.

In Memory Of for Bernard Glidewell, Honored by Wreaths Across America

My father-in-law, Bernard Glidewell, served in the Navy during the Korean War. He passed in 2000 and was one of the kindest, most loving men I'd ever met. He is greatly missed.

Our Locations

VAQNCT - Quantico National Cemetery

Welcome to Quantico National Cemetery and thank you deeply for helping us with our goal to honor as many veterans as possible on Wreaths Across America Day. Unlike past events here at the National Cemetery, the year 2020 & 2021 has presented us some new and unique challenges. Our annual tradition of Remembering, Honoring & Teaching with the wreath placement at Quantico National Cemetery will be organized similar to last year. Based off the amount of wreaths that will be sponsored for Quantico National Cemetery, there will be three blocked period of times throughout the day on December 18th for those who would like to participate. If you are planning to participate for this event, we ask that you register at the following website:  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/wreaths-across-america-quantico-national-cemetery-18-dec-2021-tickets-176396445517.  By completing your registration, this will assist our local coordinators with controlling the flow of traffic into the cemetery and assuring the safety of all of our volunteers.
