To a woman that soared with Eagles, while the turkeys were using her and her plane as target practice. One of the ground breakers that showed the world that a woman can fly as well as, and sometimes better, than any man! Thank you Alta for your service, you were such an amazing woman and not just for your military service - but you were, are, and always will be an inspiration!

In memory of a young life lost too soon......Charles B. Hester. Each year I honor Charlie by sponsoring a wreath for him and a fellow soldier. Charlie's family celebrates and remembers Charlie throughout the year. As I send this his sister Mary Jane is in Washington DC running a marathon in his honor. Charlie you remain a important part of many lives. I honor you.
