On December 14, 2024 (See location pages for ceremony and wreath placement details), OH0123P - Wooster-Wayne Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution 4118OH will be helping Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.
Please note, our Chapter also supports Wayne County Area Cemeteries. Our goal is to honor all Revolutionary War Patriots buried in Wayne County.
In addition, by choosing Wayne County Area Cemeteries as your Location, you can honor other area veterans by sponsoring a wreath for personal pick up and placement. Please contact Jolene at jolene.dyer@gmail.com with questions. Check back on this page for pickup date and times.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.
To Sponsor a wreath at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, click the Red Sponsor Wreaths button, indicate the number of wreaths to sponsor, and complete your order.
To Sponsor a wreath at Wayne County Area Cemeteries for pickup, click the Red Sponsor Wreaths button, indicate the number of wreaths to sponsor, and under Location to Support, click the drop down arrow to select Wayne County Area Cemeteries, then complete your order.
For Wayne County Area Cemeteries Orders - We would like to keep a record of how many Revolutionary War Patriots are being honored with a remembrance wreath this year. Following your wreath sponsorship order, please email Jolene at jolene.dyer@gmail.com and indicate if your order is or is not for a Revolutionary War Patriot to ensure as many as possible are honored.

From the North: Cleveland / Cleveland Hopkins Airport – Take Interstate 71 South to Interstate 76 East (exit 209). Take Interstate 76 East to Exit 2 (Route 3/Seville). Turn right onto Route 3. Go to the first traffic light, Greenwich Road. Turn Left onto Greenwich Road. Travel three miles to Rawiga Road. Turn Right onto Rawiga Road. Cemetery is 1¼ mile down on the left.
From the West: Lodi – Take Interstate 76 East to Exit 2 (Route 3/Seville). Turn right onto Route 3. Go to the first traffic light, Greenwich Road. Turn left onto Greenwich Road. Travel three miles to Rawiga Road. Turn right onto Rawiga Road. Cemetery is 1¼ mile down on the left.
From the South: Columbus – Take Interstate 71 North to Interstate 76 East (exit 209). Take Interstate 76 East to Exit 2 (Route 3/Seville). Turn right onto Route 3. From the Southeast – Canton or from Akron/Canton Airport: Take Interstate 77 North to State Route 224. Go West on Route 224; will merge with Interstate 76. Then follow Akron Directions
From East: Akron – Take Interstate 76/Route 224 West to Exit 7 (Route 57/Rittman). Turn left onto Route 57. Go to the first traffic light, Seville Road. Turn right onto Seville Road. Travel three miles to Rawiga Road. Turn left onto Rawiga Road. Cemetery is ¼ mile down on the left.
Parking Instructions
As the cemetery has very limited parking, and a very large number of attendees expected, we have two offsite parking sites with a borrowed shuttle and driver for each.Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
