On December 13, 2025 (See location pages for ceremony and wreath placement details) at Noon EST, KY0102P - Louisville Cadet Squadron, CAP, GLR-KY-039 will be helping Zachary Taylor National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

In Honor Of for Clifton Willis, United States Military, Honored by Zachary Taylor National Cemetery
Commander Clifton FayneWillisproudly served in the United States Navy from1965-1986, that included two tours of Vietnam. He received numerousmedals and ribbons, including the Bronze Star with Valor. After his retirement, he taught JROTC at Central and Bearden High Schools where he influenced many young lives. He remained active in many veteran organizations in the Knoxville area, including his tireless dedication to Wreaths Across America. He was my uncle, and I miss him very much.

Directions to Cemetery
Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. Limited parking for those with disabilities will be available in the cemetery. Remote parking is available at Christ Methodist Church, 4614 Brownsboro Road. Christ Church is on the opposite side of the road from the cemetery.
Parking Instructions
There will be limited parking inside the cemetery for those with disabilities. Remote parking will be available nearby at Christ Methodist Church, 4614 Brownsboro Rd. and Sojourn East Church, 2501 Rudy Lane. A large number of volunteers are expected this year which will likely fill the available parking. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO CARPOOL AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE WITH OTHER VOLUNTEERS.Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
