REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Welcome to the  Daughters of Liberty's Legacy  Wreaths Across America Page.

All sponsored wreaths in 2023 will be placed by a  core group of volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, please contact our volunteer Location Coordinator Debra at dpalazzo@westchesteresq.com to make those arrangements. WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING GRAVE SPECIFIC WREATH PLACEMENTS THIS YEAR. YOU MAY CONTACT US DIRECTLY AND REQUEST SAME.

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button.

Thank you so much for supporting the Daughters of Liberty's Legacy and Wreaths Across America!

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at GATE OF HEAVEN CEMETERY. Please do not forget to register to volunteer!

Please email if you need info: dpalazzo@westchesteresq.com

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • There is a formal ceremony before we place the wreaths.
  • Be aware that placing wreaths involves walking. Locating a grave is not always easy. We do offer a map for guidance.
  • The ceremony is outside, rain or snow, it goes. Dress warmly.
  • Plenty of on site parking. Bathrooms available.
  • Use the entry gate off the Taconic Pkwy (Stevens Ave.). If you come in the Bradhurst gate, follow the signs to the office then look for the large flag pole.
  • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • Complimentary light refreshments usually available.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
