MY DAD WAS AWARDED THE PURPLE HEART IN KOREA FOR INJURIES FIGHTING IN THAT WAR. I MISS HIM VERY MUCH. ON THIS DAY OF THANKSGIVING, I WANT TO SAY THANKS TO HIM AND TO ALL OF OUR DECEASED AND LIVING VETERANS AND SERVICE MEMBERS. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Each year, our wreaths are laid in loving memory of my husband Jerry, his brother Gil both of whom served in peacetime, his Uncle George Alexandre, who served during WW2. I also remember those in my family who gave their all to our country, my cousin Bob, who served in Vietnam and died from Agent Orange exposure and my Uncle Walter, who served in WW2 and died when his plane was shot down over New Guinea.
