PVT Joseph St. Andrews, 12th US Infantry, Civil War. POW Battle of Globe Tavern 1864. Died of illness due to Confederate mistreatment on October 13th, 1864, age 18, in Annapolis Army hospital. Buried the same day. He fought and died to preserve the Union. Uncle Joseph, rest in peace with honor.
