Welcome to the Forest Lawn West Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page.
On December 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm, Wreaths Across America will be at Forest Lawn West Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.
Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

In Memory Of for Walter Stephen Hayes, United States Military, Born 12/26/45, Passed On 01/23/12, Honored by Forest Lawn West Cemetery
To a man who loved life, enjoyed a good joke and had a fabulous sense of humor. His Air Guard friends were his second family and you never knew when a loud "Red Hayes" would come out of nowhere. He was a great Dad, Grandpa, Son, Brother and a loving Husband. As my incription says, we will be Together Forever at some point.

Directions to Cemetery
Ceremony will be held around the monument located across Freedom Drive from the main offices of Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Please look for sign on gate.
If you are arriving from I85, ceremony location is on the right.
If you are arriving from I485, ceremony location is on the left. You will need to go past address and do a U-Turn.
Parking Instructions
Parking for this event will primarily be across from the offices of Forest Lawn West but IS LIMITED. If you are joining us as part of a larger group, it is advised to meet at the parking lot of the offices and consolidate vehicles when possible, due to limited parking. Please arrive between 11:15am and 11:45am, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 12:00pm.
Volunteers will direct you where to park.
Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
