On December 14, 2024 at 12:00 pm, NH0024 - Hudson, NH VFW Post 5791 and Auxiliary will be helping Hudson, NH Cemeteries to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Directions to Cemetery
This year's ceremony will be held at the historic Hills House at 211 Derry Road, Hudson, NH at 11 AM. There is plenty of room for parking, easy access to the ceremony, and is close enough to each of the cemeteries to give volunteers ample time to get to the cemeteries at the conclusion of the ceremony. If you have contacted us to volunteer at jvmadden23w@comcast.net, you'll receive directions to the cemetery you have been assigned to.
Parking Instructions
The ceremony at 211 Derry Road, Hudson, NH is easy to get to. Once you arrive at 211 Derry Road, you'll see a long road leading to a beautiful house. Drive up the road and there will be individuals to direct you to parking on the grounds of the Hills House. Should weather preclude parking there, parking will be across Derry Road at the Alvirne High School.Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America activities on December 16, 2023 at Hudson, NH Area Cemeteries. We have seven cemeteries in Hudson. Our Wreath Day Ceremony will take place at 11 AM at the historic Hills House on Derry Road. After the ceremony, registered volunteers will have plenty of time to drive to one of our nearby cemeteries where we'll be laying wreaths. If you'd like to volunteer to place wreaths at one of these cemeteries, please send an email to: jvmadden23w@comcast.net. That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- The ceremony lasts approximately one half hour and is held outside.
- If you have contacted us to volunteer to place a wreath, please check in with the Location Coordinator at your cemetery when you get there.
- Please be sure that all volunteers get to place at least one wreath by only taking one wreath at a time and following the Location Leader's instructions.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for helping Wreaths Across America Hudson, NH Cemeteries achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
