In memory of Raymond J. WIrth, Liverpool NY. Ray entered the U.S. Navy in 1943 at the age of 18 as a signalman. His ship, LST 686, was part of the largest naval convoy in history, and participated in three invasions that liberated the Philippines in 1944.
