On December 14, 2024 at 12:00 pm, PA0439 - 171st Air Refueling Wing / Pittsburgh IAP /Pennsylvania Air National Guard will be helping National Cemetery of the Alleghenies to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

There is plenty of parking at this cemetery, so feel free to park in any available spot.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

Wreath Cleanup

Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 8:00 a.m.

We will meet at the Public Information Center in the middle of the cemetery at 8 a.m. Please bring your broom sticks and hockey sticks to help collect as many wreaths as possible at once! Waterproof boots and weather appropriate wear are suggested.

Thank you to Michael Bros. hauling for helping us to sustainably recycle the wreaths and their metal bases.

If your farm is interested in wreaths for your animals to eat, you're welcome to them on clean up day. Please contact brynnlyWAA@gmail.com to make arrangements.
