David James Ankeny during the Vietnam war in 1961. My dad and one other man were the only two men from his platoon to make it back home. This was because of the bravery of the Marines that served beside him and my father's grit. As my father's daughter, I am an Air Force veteran, a Registered Nurse, and have been honored to have saved countless lives serving my country. Thank you will never be enough. Your's and my dad's sacrifice will never be forgotten.
