Welcome to the Shenandoah County Cemeteries's Wreaths Across America Page.
On Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 12:00 pm, Wreaths Across America and Narrow Passage Chapter, NSDAR will be helping multiple Shenandoah County, Virginia cemeteries to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.
Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on National Wreaths Across America Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.
Please note, our ceremony will begin at 10:00 AM at Antioch Church located at 23502 Senedo Rd, Woodstock, VA, 22664, with wreath placement to follow at all cemeteries.
Our goal is to honor all veterans laid to rest in Shenandoah County. The cemeteries we are covering are:

- Detrick Cemetery located at Ft Valley Rd & Seven Fountains Rd

Directions to Cemetery
Our 2023 ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM at Antioch Church, located at 23502 Senedo Rd, Woodstock, VA 22664. We will then disperse to place wreaths at the 14 Shenandoah County cemeteries.
Parking Instructions
Parking attendants will be available to assist with parking. There is plenty of parking at the church.Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony to honor veterans at 14 Shenandoah County, Virginia Cemeteries. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the ceremony itself.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for helping Wreaths Across America achieve our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach.
